Well, I just recieved a letter from the University of Alberta saying that I have been accepted into the Industrial Design program! I'm excited because this is a really competitive program with hundreds of applicants each year, and I am one of about forty that has been accepted, so right now I am pretty stoked!
I also got a job at a place called Specialized Stairs for the summer. We make custom spiral staircases out of exotic hardwoods for wealthy home owners. It is pretty awesome. I have only been working there for a week now, but I really love it. It pays a little less than I could make at other shops, but I chose this place because of the experience I'll get and the people I will be working with. Within two weeks of finishing school I realized I really missed working in the shop, so it is good to be back doing what I love again.
In other news one of my best friends has moved in with me for the summer. There shall definitely be some capers and or shenanegans. I really couldn't be more happy right now.
